When I had my first child at nearly 40, I realized that there was very little useful information out there targeted to older mothers. Much of the advice was tailored to the younger women and didn't take into account the unique challenges of being an older first time mother.

I've started this site as a meeting place for support and advice for those starting out on their mothering journey a little later than expected.. so grab a coffee, pull up a chair and join me in the cafe as we learn and encourage one another together!
