It’s a great feeling when the baby moves in the womb. At times, I have even seen the knobby areas protruding unevenly through my abdominal wall. And yes, sometimes the kicks become so hard that they virtually cause pain, especially under the ribs on the right side. Some of my friends have reported bruising from continuous vigorous movements of their babies within. Is it normal? 

My mom advises to do pelvic tilts – a form of exercise in which you lie flat on a hard surface and lift your hips upwards and forwards and it is a great help.

Please tell what you do at times?

This is what I miss most about being pregnant.  I remember feeling the stages from little butterflies fluttering around to actually being able to see rolls across my belly … even the baby's hiccups broght a smile to my face!

I did a lot of rubbing as well.  If the baby was caught up in an uncomfortable position I would rub the protruding area and usually the baby would move.  There were a couple of times, later on when the baby was larger, where I would have to more forcefully push on a foot that was up in my ribs!  I also found that later on in the pregnancy, the more I moved, the more the baby would settle into a comfortable position for both of us … let's face it, by the last few weeks of pregnancy, that baby is just as uncomfortable as we are!

Hubby used to think it was like the exorcist … when the girl was writing messages from inside her body.  Leave it to my husband to make something so amazing totally gross!
