How did/will you manage to stay cool in summer pregnancy?

Motherhood brings perfection to a woman’s life. Pregnancy is 9 months long, and a summer pregnancy is especially tough. I feel staying cool and personal hygiene is important in these days.

 

Get rid of superfluous hair. There are many ways of removing hair and it is up to you to decide for yourself which way you would like to adopt.

 

You should be more particular about your personal cleanliness. Bathe twice a day with a few drops of eau-de-cologne in the water.

 

Splashing in the pool can refresh you.

 

Fill a spray bottle with rose water and store it in the fridge. A light, cool spray on the face feels divine.

 

Have a manicure and pedicure regularly to look elegant and chic.

 

How did/will you manage to stay cool in summer pregnancy? Please share your views.

Well, I missed most of the summertime having my son in early May but it was still a particularly warm Spring then. Loose clothing is a must. There's nothing worse than being uncomfortable if you're too warm and you must be careful not to dehydrate either.

keeping my feet cool was a big thing for me.  It seemed as soon as my feet got hot, so did the rest of my body.  I spent a lot of time with my feet in the pool or in buckets of ice water.  I also found if I could cool off the back of my neck, then it seemed to regulate my body's temp as well … a cool rag on the back of my neck, or a spritz of water with those little personal fans helped A LOT.

I also found that as my body got larger, I needed a little baby powder here and there to keep me feeling dry.
