Shopping therapy sounds perfect!  ;)

Seriously.. it's definitely worth looking after yourself.. firstly because if you don't, nobody else will.. and secondly.. you need to be the best you can be to raise those little angels in your care.  Sometimes I need to remind myself htat looking after myself is just as important as looking after everybody else.. it's easy to fall into the trap of looking after everbody else first!

Some people cant afford the shopping therapy, but I agree that you must give yourself a relax and fun times once in a while. Listening a classical music and having a spa is the best way for me.

I think that shopping therapy doesn't mean that large amounts of money must be spent! As a mom, who loves shopping - sometimes I take as little as $30.00 or $20.00 but you could use any amount, and try to see just how much I can get for my money! It's almost like a contest, and you always win.

Eww, I hate shopping!  There's not much I'd rather do less than go around the mall all day.An hour or two at most is more than enough for me and at this time of year, I avoid them like the plague.

I'd much rather have a day curled up with a book in bed or on the couch, hot chocolate close at hand.

I don't like walking around the mall all day either but I am a bargain hunter so I like going to fairs. I will wait for all the great bargains to be advertised on tv or newspapers and I will only buy if I need to.

Besides going shopping, I also listen to music on my way to work and on my way back. I love to read 'Reader's Digest'. This is how I stay relax, healthy and confident. I have also signed up for aerobics dance in one of the community centres and it will commence next week. I hope I can be more healthy by participating in this activity.

Who does? I think this is especially true in the US where you hear lots of people losing their jobs almost everyday. It seems like that when you open a newspaper or turn on the news, there's always bad news of unemployment and retailers and businesses going under.

Anyway, I going off topic now. I'm lucky that I have an understanding husband. He even encourages me to shop but at the same time also ask me to save money and just buy what I really need. So sometimes, I just go out with my girl friends and go window shopping. It doesn't cost a cent as long as there's nothing that you fancy. :)

my husband is pretty understanding as well … most of the time!  lol  but right now, I just don't feel right about spending the money.  I went window shopping on tuesday, but couldnt find anything I liked … well, except for a pair of $330 boots!  but I won't spend that kind of money on shoes - lol

Aside from shopping, I've read that gardening is also a good exercise but it's not for me though. I've never been fond of caring of plants and flowers. An alternative would be taking a walk in the park and getting plenty of fresh air.
