Pets can pose serious health risks, such as injury, infection and allergy. Here are some important points to teach children about pets.

1. Never approach a strange animal unless a known adult says it is safe.

2. Beware of sick,  hurt , wild, sleeping, eating or agitated animas.

3. Always keep your face away from animal's mouth , bill, beak or claws.

4. If you pass a strange animal, talk sotthingly as you move slowly towards and around it.

 The kids are to be cautioned when it comes to pets or other animals or birds around. There have been cases where kids have been mauled badly by even the pets.Parents also are supposed to take care of a very important fact that never leave an infant unattended near pet or some other animal.
