Did you get your house baby proof, when you were supposed to be joined by your baby or after arrival?I feel that instead of yelling at the poor soul, it is better to make few arragements.

Yes same here!!!  We just sort of adapted the place as it became necessary.  Vases and things became more suited to higher shelves and cupboard doors etc.. had those irritating latches put on them.  Cleaning fluids and chemical what nots also found new homes. away from the bottom of walk in cupboards.  My mum was a good help with this actually, as she could visualise the havoc my little one would reek when toddling, because she'd had five of her own.  I don't really own anything that valuable anyway, although I did realise I had quite a cluttered home.  I'm definitely not minimalist.
