Hi - My name is Marna, I am 45 years old and have one little boy who is 7. I am so glad we have this forum. 

Being an older Mom has been a blessing in disguise.  I am way more patient than I think if I'd had a child in my 20's.  I just know me:)

We had help having our son — we are infertility patients, there isn't a day that goes by that I forgete that aspect.

I am looking forward to meeting you all and sharing stories about our kids, partners and life:)

Hi Marna, lovely to meet you and welcome to oldermomscafe. I think that patience is one of the big pluses for being an older mom, definitely. In your twenties, you're still trying to figure out who you are but by your forties, you're much more content within yourself - I find that anyway with myself.
