I got to wondering whether the children raised now by older parents might be raised with a different set of values (some might say old fashioned) than the children of their younger counterparts????  I'm not saying this is a good or bad thing.. Just wondering how this may affect the dynamics of the children involved.  Or, do you think that older parents might make even more of an effort to stay 'up with the times' to  counteract this??

Good question! I agree with Denise. Perhaps it has to do with life experience as well. You don't take the same nonsense at forty five that you would have twenty years earlier.

I worry sometimes about how lax a lot of parents are these days in my eyes but I'm sure each generation brings something not just of themselves to the equation but how they were raised. There will be good and bad parents within whatever group you look at.
