Some parents feel that there is a risk in overindulging or spoiling the infant, especially if they themselves need to feel in control. According to experts, however cannot spoil an infant. During the first year give him all the attention he wants, because this is when he is learning to love and trust. Later when he begins moving around in the world , these feelings become the best base for discipline.

I agree, you cannot spoil an infant, it is important to nurture the child, as while they are an infan the personality is formed and it coul dinfluence the child into toddler years! Never think that you are overindulging an infant!

It does get confusing at times how much is too much, the infant has to be given the required attention at initial stage. What I felt when my babies joined me that they were  completely dependent on me for each and every job. So as a parent  I couldn't deny them any thing. For even turning their head they needed assistance what to talk about the feeding part and changing diapies.I found out at later stages that there was nothing wrong, the way I handled them. They are wonderful well disciplined  kids.
