Colic is an accumulated air in the tummy and it is a pain comes in waves, beginning with slight pain, which rises to crescendo and then dies away. If the baby periodically draws up his legs sharply to his abdomen it could suggest a coincidental spasm of pain. The best way to prevent colic for baby is to burp the baby after feeding. Burping is done by placing your baby in your shoulder and massage the back .

Colic is a common problem amongst newborns.

You can also  try to comfort your baby by swaddling, cuddling, rhyme rocking, warm baths , singing , massaging or going for a walk or ride.

No matter how frustrating it is, BE PATIENT!!

I agreed with Coldplay because my baby at the 1st 6 months she always had a colic and I can say everyday’s,what I do is just gave her to take the formula milk in a little amount such as 2ml for 6 to 8 times a day and most important is to burp the baby after feeding, never forget that

My elder son used to go through severe cholic pains when he was around 6 or 8 months of age. The doctor used to opt for treatments that involved minimum medicine. He used to suggest us to take him for bumpy rides on a two wheeler, whenever he cried with cholic pains. I am telling you, it used to be of a great help, my son used to get pacified. It became a regular feature, as we all started enjoying this and my son used to be impatient to go for that bumpy ride.
