Diaper rash is very common in babies and it is a skin reaction that appears as a mascular to solid redness in the perineal area. It maybe cause by prolonged contact with urine, irritation from ammonia formed as the urine decomposes and irritation from the harsh surface of a diaper.

The best way to prevent diaper rash or scald is to change diapers frequently clean the skin with each change to remove residual urine or feces and wash diapers correctly..You can also apply skin barriers like cornstarch and you can also used cotton diapers..

This is a very commom problem when the baby remains wrapped in a diaper. Frequent checkings and changes are must. There are lot of baby creames that are available. Baby oil is another very good option. Make it sure that leave the baby without diaper once or twice during the whole day, so that the area remains dry and well ventilated for a while.Nothing hurts more than rashes.

Having a diaper rash is a normal part of being a baby. Even there are many ways that you can control the amount of rash, but from time to time it wil flare up again.Diaper rash can be avoided by using Daktacort lotion when it is very bad a nd use a normal dipaer rash cream everyday after their bath. This can prevent the diaper rash.

I have been told to only use products directed for baby use in the genital area.  There skin is so new and so thin that many ointments we find unharmful to us, can cause problems with babies.

I prefer products like vaseline (I use a variation of it from a company called Sween) for mild diaper rash.  I have one child who was sensitive to diapers and regardless of how often she was changed, would get a horrible rash!  vaseline at every changing helped to protect her sensitive skin.
